Meet Onde’s new feature: Starting bonus from customers to drivers.
How does it work?
The process is simple:
- For customers: When making a new order, customers can choose to include a bonus for the driver. Depending on the selection of bonus choices the company manager makes in My hub, a customer can choose how much they would like to pay additionally to get the car faster.
- For drivers: Drivers see ride requests that include a selected bonus on the New order screen and can choose whether to accept or decline the order.
What will the feature change?
Shortened waiting times for customers
One of the most common customer complaints is long waiting times. During busy times, it can also be challenging to secure a ride. Adding a bonus allows customers to prioritize their requests and shorten their waiting times.
More money for drivers
Drivers benefit directly from the bonus: their earnings increase and their efforts during rush hours are better rewarded. This increases the number of orders they accept, which, in turn, increases the revenue for the ride-hailing company.
In summary, the feature bridges the gap between supply and demand, ensuring a smoother booking experience for everyone involved.
